In 2005 the Ballinacor Community bought approximately 10 acres of forestry. This had to be completely cleared and developed. To date we have successfully developed a full size GAA pitch which is used for the most part by Ballinacor football and camogie teams, however it can also be used for any other sport should the need arise. The pitch is 140 by 90 metres. 

We also have a tennis court and a basketball-soccer court.
We have a fully wheelchair accessible, scenic board- walk around our perimeter which is approximately half a mile long. The boardwalk starts and finishes in our car park which has 62 spaces and 4 wheelchair friendly spaces.​
